Daemon Playbook

Transforming into a demon is a fundamentally different type of life, infused with electroplasmic essence that would otherwise be fundamentally toxic to life. This process is not the act of being bound to a demon, although demons might try to bend you to their will to either facilitate or obstruct your transition. It is not even clear that such a thing can be done, whether it is indeed dark ancient magic or myth is unknown to even the most learned of scholars. But even to taste the power is to corrupt a mortal soul, and only the narrowest of paths could possibly lead to an Ascension.  

To take this path leaves one's former life behind and associates may react in any number of ways. They may seek to control you or use you to their own ends. They may betray you or otherwise attempt to destroy you. In a city like Duskvol where selflessness lies fathoms below layers of crushing, inky blackness, only the most fortunate have friends that may try to redeem you. But the path before you screams an ear-splitting aria driving you forward... can you even hear them?
